Achieving the perfect chemical balance is paramount for a healthy pool. We meticulously monitor levels of sanitizers like chlorine, as well as crucial parameters such as pH balance, total alkalinity, and calcium hardness. Our technicians are trained to make precise adjustments, explaining the technical terminology briefly as needed. For instance, maintaining proper pH balance (the measure of acidity or basicity) is critical for sanitizer effectiveness and swimmer comfort.
Your pool's equipment is its heart and lungs. We perform thorough routine equipment checks during every visit, including detailed pump inspection and filter analysis. We look for signs of wear, leaks, or inefficient operation. Understanding the flow rates and pressure can prevent issues like cavitation, which can damage your pump motor. This proactive approach saves you from expensive repairs down the line.
A clean pool is a beautiful pool. Our team performs expert skimming to remove surface debris, vacuums the pool floor, and brushes walls and steps to prevent algae buildup. We also empty skimmer and pump baskets, ensuring optimal water circulation. Beyond regular cleaning, we conduct specialized filter cleaning (backwashing for sand/D.E. filters or cartridge rinsing) as part of our service, crucial for maintaining crystal-clear water.

Yes, and most customers do. Service is usually heavier through the swimming season and lighter outside it, and some equipment work is better done when the pool is not in use. It is worth discussing the pattern rather than assuming one schedule fits the whole year.
Unbalanced water does more than look bad. Water that drifts too low in alkalinity or pH becomes corrosive to metal parts, heaters and fittings, while water that runs high tends to leave scale. Keeping chemistry in range is one of the simplest ways to protect equipment.
The filter and its pressure, the pump and its baskets, visible plumbing and valves plus the condition of the liner or surface, covers and fittings. The point is to spot wear early, while it is still a small fix.
Yes. Hot tubs need the same attention to chemistry, filters and equipment as a pool, often more frequently because of the small volume and high temperature, so it makes sense to look after both on the same plan.
We have had a wonderful experience with Puddle Pools. They are professional, reliable, and always do a fantastic job keeping our pool crystal clear. Communication is great, and their team is always friendly and respectful. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch pool care!
As first-time pool owners, we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into, so finding a reliable pool service was very important to us. After searching online, I came across Puddle Pool Services and decided to give them a call. They answered right away, and David took the time to explain their weekly maintenance program, what to expect, and answered every question I had without making me feel rushed and overwhelmed. Based on that conversation, I decided to give them a try, and I’m so glad I did. Gavin has been taking care of our pool, and he has been fantastic. He is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and very thorough. You can tell he genuinely cares and treats our pool as if it were his own. The entire team has made owning a pool so much less overwhelming. They’ve patiently answered all of my questions, provided great advice, and given me confidence that our pool is being properly cared for. The service has been excellent from day one, and I plan to continue using them for the long term. If you’re looking for a dependable, honest, and professional pool company, I highly recommend Puddle Pool Services. David and Gavin have both been outstanding, and we couldn’t be happier with the service we’ve received!
