We handle the vacuuming, scrubbing, water testing, and equipment checks, your job is simply to enjoy the water.
Pool Closing
If you're a pool owner in Bergen County, you know how unpredictable our winters can be.
Pool Inspections
Having a pool in Bergen County, New Jersey, is a wonderful way to relax and have fun right at home. But owning a pool also means taking responsibility for keeping it safe and well-maintained.
Leak Detection
If your pool’s water level drops faster than normal, it’s not always splash-out or evaporation. We use professional leak detection technology to locate issues in your plumbing, equipment, or pool structure, before it becomes a constant refill cycle or a spike in your water bill.
Pool Maintenance
Keeping your swimming pool pristine in Bergen County demands a professional touch, expert knowledge of water chemistry, and consistent attention. At Puddle Pool Services, we understand the unique challenges of local pool ownership.

Why Bergen County Homeowners Choose Puddle Pools
Let’s be honest, there’s no shortage of pool service companies in Bergen County. Here’s why local homeowners stick with us:
We actually answer the phone. Seriously, try it. Call 201-730-4404 and see for yourself. You’ll get a real person, not a voicemail maze or an outsourced call center pretending they’re down the street in Paramus.
No pushy upsells. If your heater is dying, we’ll tell you. If it’s not, we won’t suddenly “find” a problem just to bump the invoice. Our reputation across Ridgewood, Hackensack, Fair Lawn, Teaneck, and the rest of Bergen County means far more to us than a one-time repair.
We understand North Jersey pools. Harsh winters that hit equipment hard? Every year. Spring pollen coating everything in yellow? Without fail. Older systems in older homes? We’ve worked on them all. Bergen County pools come with Bergen County quirks, and we know exactly how to handle them.

Common Pool Problems in Bergen County & How We Fix Them
Mineral-Heavy Water
Northern New Jersey water often contains elevated calcium and iron levels, which can lead to staining, scale buildup, and cloudy water. We balance your pool chemistry to slow mineral accumulation and treat existing discoloration or scale on tile and plaster.
Leaf & Debris Overload
Bergen County is filled with mature, tree-lined neighborhoods, Ridgewood, Teaneck, Fair Lawn, Paramus, so leaves, acorns, seed pods, and pollen are constant visitors. We boost skimming, clear baskets, and keep filtration strong during heavy debris seasons.
Rainwater Dilution
Fast-moving storms are common in North Jersey. A heavy downpour can dilute your chemicals and throw water balance off almost instantly. After major rain events, we test, rebalance, and shock your pool as needed to prevent cloudiness or algae.
Cold-Weather Equipment Stress
Cool spring nights and warm afternoons can put added stress on pumps, heaters, and plumbing. We inspect seals, check for wear, and make sure your equipment is ready to handle both early-season temperature swings and peak summer demand.
Algae During Busy Weeks Away
Heading to the Shore? Taking a family trip? We offer vacation service to keep your pool maintained while you’re gone. No one wants to return from a getaway to a swampy, green pool, and with our care, you won’t have to.
Great service and a wonderful team! Whenever I need anything, they do their best to provide a quick and professional solution. They are also very nice people to work with.
I hired Puddle Pool Services to install a new Polaris pump. Norbert was absolutely fantastic to work with! He’s knowledgeable about pools and super kind to work with. It’s a major added plus that he speaks English and is very willing to share his knowledge about the functions of my pool- something no other pool company wants to share. Thank you Norbert and Puddle Pools! I highly recommend this fairly new player to the pool service market!!!
Norbert and Miguel were amazing. They address all my concerns and hiccups that I created patiently. They were very professional knowledgeable and 💯 would recommend. Give them a call for your pool needs 😊

Norbert is the guy to go to ! Fair pricing , great service ! He will make sure your pool is ready for summer !
Excellent work. On time and fairly priced ! Highly recommended
Norbert from Puddle Pool Service installed a Pentair pool pump in our small swimming pool. Norbert is incredibly experienced (25 years in the business) and skillful and professional in doing his work. Beyond that, he’s also a very nice person who is willing to help a customer above and beyond his responsibilities. Puddle pool service pricing was very reasonable and we really appreciated working with Norbert.
I can’t say enough good things about Puddle Pool Services. I am so glad that I changed pool companies. Norbert, Andrew, and Miguel have been incredibly responsive, helpful, and professional, and they have done a fantastic job with our pool. Their level of service and attention to detail has been outstanding. I highly recommend this company!
I am a general manager at a large, gated, 201-townhome community in Northern Bergen County. We have had Norbert service (open/close/troubleshoot/replace components/resurface) an Olympic-sized pool and a large community hot tub for over six years. Norbert works closely with the Board of Health and the town to keep the facility up and running. Opening our pool every year has been very stressful, but with Norbert and his crews, it has become a seamless process. Great company.
Service was quick and easy! Norbert and Miguel were a pleasure, very professional and helpful and had us up and running and looking good same day. Usually pool opening just gets it running, pool was cleaned and treated, and looks essentially ready to jump into. Highly recommend!
Prompt knowledgeable and efficient . Puddle pool service fixed our problem excellent. I would recommend Norbert if you need pool services .
I can’t say enough great things about Puddle Pool Services. From start to finish, the entire experience was top-notch. They were professional, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. You can tell right away they take pride in their work and genuinely care about doing the job right. Communication was excellent throughout the process, and everything was done on time with zero headaches. The quality of the work speaks for itself it was clean, precise, and built to last. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a reliable, honest, and skilled pool company, I highly recommend Puddle Pool Services. Easily a 5-star experience.
Just had an awesome experience with Puddle Pool Services. They got back to me right away, walked me through what I needed, and made everything super easy. Their pricing is great, but honestly, it was the professionalism and genuine care that sold me. Norbert, is one of those people who makes you feel like your pool is in good hands. Pool is looking as good as it did on Day 1! Definitely recommending them to anyone who wants reliable, no‑nonsense service.
Great company with knowledgeable guys that showed up on time, extremely professional and were quickly able to fix the leak in my pool. I would highly recommend Norbert and Miguel for all your pool service needs!
Reached out to Puddle Pools & I can’t say enough good stuff on how honest & professional Norbert & team were! Had an issue with our salt cell as the readings were not generating enough salt. Norbert & team saved us money in not having to replace it, rather he thoroughly explained to us he could clean & repair the cell which saved us a substantial amount of money!! Unlike other pool companies that have a schedule and try to fit in as many customers in one day as they can, Puddle Pools spent a considerable amount of time educating us on our equipment as new pool owners, they truly stand out from the rest!
Fantastic company to deal with. I was hesitant to move on from my existing pool servicing company but PPS made the switch seamless. Very responsive, professional and fair pricing. Detailed scheduling of future services and they were kind enough to explain everything they can do. They helped bring my older model Jacuzzi back to life in no time. I highly recommend this company to handle all of your pool & spa service needs.
Great service! I reached out to Puddle Pool Services and am very impressed with their level of professionalism and knowledge. They were quick to respond and the pricing is very competitive! Norbert-the general manager is a pleasure. Highly recommend them for all your pool needs.
Good, prompt service. Very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!!
Norbert & Miguel get the job done in a timely manner! My friends who I recommended are also very pleased with their efficient work.
First time I contacted this company, they were very responsive and helpful. I think the person on the phone was Norbert. They came and looked at the problem in a timely manner and addressed the issue. They are a professional team and their service and contract rates are good. I would definitely recommend them.
Incredibly responsive, punctual, and knowledgeable. First class experience and incredibly friendly people. Can’t say enough good things!
Best pool company we have used to date. Friendly, informative, responsive, fair…. really can’t say enough good things about these guys. Their team got us on the schedule quickly and easily, Norbert and Miguel got to our house on time and walked us through everything that was happening with our hot tub, why it was happening, what they would do to fix it, and how we can manage it moving forward. Now, our spa looks like it did in the brochure! Five star service, fair pricing, a great experience overall.
Great crew reliable workers
