Look, there are plenty of pool companies in Thousand Oaks. Here is why homeowners stick with us:
We understand Thousand Oaks pools. Pools in the Conejo Valley face their own challenges. Heat and sun exposure can throw off water balance, while nearby trees and seasonal winds can bring debris into your pool. Equipment also works harder during hot stretches. These are local conditions, and we know exactly how to handle them.
Hot summers in Thousand Oaks can put extra strain on your pool equipment. Pumps, heaters, and seals often work harder during long stretches of high temperatures, which can lead to premature wear. We keep a close eye on your system, perform preventative maintenance, and catch small issues before they turn into expensive repairs.
Seasonal winds and nearby trees can send leaves, dust, and debris straight into your pool, especially in more open neighborhoods. We stay on top of skimming, keep baskets clear, and ensure your filtration system is running efficiently so your water stays clean and inviting.
With plenty of sunshine year round, chlorine can burn off quickly, throwing off your pool’s chemical balance. We routinely test and adjust your water to keep it safe, clear, and properly sanitized, even during peak summer heat.
Pools in Thousand Oaks can lose noticeable amounts of water during hot, dry days. We help you understand what is normal evaporation and what might signal a leak that needs attention.
If your pool goes without proper care, algae can take hold quickly. Whether you were away or maintenance was skipped, we step in with targeted treatments to bring your pool back to clean, clear, and swim ready condition.

Very reliable. Great communication and fair prices. They keep my pool looking great!!
Puddle Pools just started servicing my area. I gave them a chance with my pool and I'm sticking with them. I am having my pool cleaned, including chemicals, for what it was costing me just for chemicals alone. Plus they send an email showing me exactly what my pool water is doing based on their testing. So far, excellent service!
Awesome experience. Great communication. Thanks Puddles.
Excellent job! They take pride in their work and pay attention to the details. The stress is off of us and our pool looks amazing!

Yes. The City of Thousand Oaks 2026 water quality report lists total hardness of 137 to 142 ppm, about 8 grains per gallon, for the State Water Project supply that makes up 94% of the city’s water. The USGS counts 121 to 180 mg/L as hard, so calcium scale on tile and equipment is the thing to watch, and we check calcium hardness along with pH and alkalinity on every visit.
Our Thousand Oaks team covers the Conejo Valley, including Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and Oak Park, and also looks after pools in Moorpark, Ventura, Oxnard and Santa Barbara. If you are not sure your street is covered, ask for a quote and we will confirm.
Most do. NOAA has no temperature station in the city, but the two nearest bracket it: Camarillo Airport averages a January low of 45.0 F and Woodland Hills averages 43.1 F, while July highs run from 78.0 F near the coast to 95.1 F inland. Rain averages 16.10 inches a year and almost none falls from June through September, so the work shifts from storm cleanups in winter to high chlorine demand in summer.
