Very hard. The JEA 2025 water quality report puts it at about 15 grains per gallon, roughly 257 mg/L. That comes from the Floridan Aquifer, which is limestone karst: rainwater turns slightly acidic filtering through the soil, dissolves the limestone it passes through, and arrives carrying calcium and magnesium before it is ever pumped.
