New Orleans Pool Cleaning Service

Yellow often means metal staining or pollen tannins. Green means algae or copper from corrosion. Brown often means iron or organic tannin staining. Each has a different treatment. Send us a photo and we will identify what is happening and bring the right chemicals to the next visit.

Yes. Vinyl liner pools need slightly different care: softer brushes to avoid puncturing the liner and careful chlorine management because vinyl is sensitive to high concentrations. We adjust our protocol for vinyl pools automatically.

Yes. The customer portal shows every chemistry reading from every visit going back to the start of your service. You can see trends in chlorine demand, pH drift and calcium hardness across seasons.

Salt levels drift down over time due to splash-out, backwashing and rain dilution. Most salt pools need a salt top-up once or twice a year. Your salt cell reports a low-salt warning when levels drop below the operating range. We test salt on every visit.

Single-speed pumps last 5 to 8 years. Variable-speed pumps last 8 to 12 years and use significantly less electricity. We flag end-of-life signs (humming, intermittent operation, seal leaks) in the E-Report so you can plan replacement before failure.

Standard balancing chemicals (chlorine, pH adjusters, alkalinity adjusters) are included in your weekly or bi-weekly service price. Specialty chemicals (algaecide, clarifier, stain treatment, phosphate remover) are billed separately and we always notify you before adding them.

Have your gate access sorted, leave the cover off if you use one and let us know about any equipment quirks (sticky valves, finicky timers, etc.). We will photograph the pool’s baseline state and bring it to the chemistry targets within the first two visits.

Heavy pollen seasons (oak, pine, cedar depending on region) load the water with organic material that fouls filters, raises chlorine demand and stains surfaces if not cleared quickly. We bump filter cleaning frequency during pollen season and run enzymes plus clarifiers to lift the load.

Pools in New Orleans are filled with soft Mississippi River municipal water. Soft water below 150 ppm calcium hardness is aggressive to plaster and metal equipment. We test calcium on every visit and add calcium chloride to bring the water into the 200 to 400 ppm pool range, especially for newer plaster surfaces.

We run weekly pool cleaning routes across New Orleans and surrounding areas including Garden District, Uptown, Lakeview, Metairie and the French Quarter. We add new New Orleans-area neighborhoods to our service map as demand grows. Request a free quote and we will confirm coverage and scheduling within one business day.
