Do I need approval to add a pool in The Woodlands?
Yes. The Township Home Modifications page says any improvement on a lot, including pools, pool decking and pool equipment, needs prior written approval and must meet the Neighborhood Criteria for that lot. In Grogan's Forest Sections 5, 6 and 7, pools, spas and pool barriers are also handled by the City of Shenandoah, so check with the Township before you start.

Contacted Craig about cleaning my pool tile which had some staining and quite a bit of calcium. He gave me a price but also came out to see what he was dealing with especially the stain. He had some chemicals with him and actually removed the stain during the site visit. He came back at the agreed upon time and cleaned all of the tile. There was no contract involved and didn’t ask for any money upfront. Payment was made when the job was done. Definitely would recommend Puddle Pools.
