Our Detailed Maintenance Checklist
Every service visit follows a rigorous checklist to ensure nothing is overlooked. This systematic approach guarantees consistent quality and thoroughness. We focus on both visible cleanliness and the invisible chemistry that keeps your water healthy.
- Skimming: We meticulously remove leaves, insects, and other debris from the water's surface. This prevents organic matter from breaking down and affecting water chemistry.
- Brushing: Pool walls and steps are brushed to prevent algae buildup and remove dirt that can cling to surfaces. This helps keep your pool looking clean and extends the life of your poolโs finish.
- Vacuuming: The pool floor is thoroughly vacuumed to remove settled dirt and debris. This is crucial for maintaining clear water and preventing staining.
- pH Testing: We measure the water's pH level, which indicates its acidity or alkalinity. Proper pH is essential for swimmer comfort and sanitizer effectiveness.
- Water Chemistry Balancing: Beyond pH, we test and adjust alkalinity, calcium hardness, and sanitizer levels (like chlorine). Alkalinity is the water's ability to resist pH changes, and proper chlorination is key for sanitation and disinfection.
- Filter Cleaning: We clean or backwash your filter regularly. Backwashing reverses water flow to flush out trapped debris, which is vital for efficient water circulation and filtration.
- Pump Inspection: We visually inspect your pool pump, the "heart" of your circulation system, for proper operation, leaks, and unusual noises. This ensures efficient water movement and prevents breakdowns.
- Routine Equipment Checks: This includes inspecting skimmer baskets, pump baskets, and automatic pool cleaners. We also check for any visible wear or damage to hoses, fittings, and other pool components.
