Often, yes. Heaters stop heating for a range of reasons, from controls and sensors to ignition and flow problems. A technician checks the heater and the water flow to it before recommending a repair or replacement.
It depends on the age and condition of the pump and what failed. A worn part can often be replaced, but an old or inefficient pump may be worth upgrading, since a variable speed pump uses less energy by running at lower flow when full power is not needed.
Small tears and punctures can usually be patched, which stops water loss and protects the structure behind the liner. Larger damage or an aging liner may call for replacement, and a technician can tell you which makes sense.
Warning signs include water that will not stay clear or balanced, unusual noises from the pump, pressure readings outside the normal range, water loss that is faster than evaporation and equipment that trips or will not start. Any of these is worth having checked.
Yes. Hot tubs share many of the same components as pools, including pumps, heaters and plumbing, and they are diagnosed and repaired the same way.
We have had pool for some 25 years and have had several pool services. Puddle Pool has been by far the best. They have a great understanding of pool systems than others have been and work hard to take care of issue. When a pool screen for example, most places will say that it cannot be fixed as you cannot buy and put in new screen. You need a new pump. They come in with the correct part, change and done and back on line at modest cost. I recommend them
We recently opened up our Endless Pool for the summer and had a fantastic experience with Puddle Pools Services. From the start, they were extremely responsive and were able to get us on the schedule right away. They thoroughly cleaned and scrubbed the swim spa, balanced all of the chemicals, vacuumed, cleaned our retractable pool cover that had accumulated debris, and even transformed our dirty filter from brown to white! What really set them apart was their professionalism and attention to detail. After the service, they provided a comprehensive report outlining exactly what was completed, the chemicals used, water test results, and before-and-after photos. It gave us complete confidence in the work that was performed. We had previously used another pool service that seemed to be in and out in less than five minutes, leaving us wondering what was actually done. Puddle Pools Services was the exact opposite. They were thorough, transparent, and focused on doing the job right. Our swim spa is now crystal clear and swim-ready for summer! Highly recommend Puddle Pools Services to anyone looking for reliable, professional pool service!
I have a pool cleaner but wasn’t super happy with the service I have been getting. I called Andrew and he and his tech came out very quickly analyzed my pool, came up with a solution to some nagging issues I was having and proposed a very reasonable price for the service. Plus they are super friendly and great with communication. I also appreciate getting a report of when they were here and what they did with each service.. I haven’t seen this before. I will be switching to Puddle Pools.
Great service! Andrew and his team went above my expectations. Saved me from a costly repair and did a thorough clean of the pool filters. I definitely recommend Puddle Pool Services.
Thank you Puddle crew. Super happy with our new service!
This company is the real deal! I drove past their van, called them for a quote and they came out the next day. They show up on time (finally found a company who delivers on their promise 😅), and the pool always looks great. Thanks Puddle Team!
We've had a pool for over 15 years, and I can honestly say I’ve NEVER had service this good before. We were struggling with a pool that multiple companies couldn’t get clear no matter what they tried. Puddle Pools came out, took one look at it, explained exactly what was going on, and within a short time the pool looked crystal clear again. Our tech, Raine, was awesome. Super professional, showed up in full uniform, drove a clean and professional-looking service van, and clearly knew what he was doing. You can tell this company actually cares about quality and customer service. One of my favorite parts is that after every visit, I get photos and a full service report so I always know exactly what was done and how the pool is looking. That level of communication is rare these days. Their pricing was also extremely competitive, but honestly, after seeing the level of service they provide, I’d gladly pay more. That’s how good they are. Highly recommend Puddle Pools to anyone looking for reliable, professional weekly pool service.
I tried taking care of our swim spa myself, but it was always getting out of control. Raine with Puddle Pool Service came out, got it looking great and provided solid advice. We ended up signing up for their weekly service to make sure it doesn’t get of control again.
