Most clients keep weekly service year round, but pools with heavy summer bather load benefit from a 2-visit-per-week routine in July and August. We can flex frequency for the peak months and back down in winter.

Most pools benefit from a weekly oxidation shock during heavy-use season. Pools with high bather load, recent storm exposure or rising combined chlorine should be shocked more often. We typically build shocks into the service routine and bill the chemical as a small add-on.

Yes. We service gas heaters, heat pumps and electric resistive heaters. Routine checks include inspecting the heat exchanger for scale, verifying flame patterns or compressor operation, checking pressure switches and confirming the heater communicates with your automation system.

Black algae appears as dark spots on plaster, especially in shady corners. It has a hard protective shell that resists most chemicals. Treatment requires daily wire brushing of the spots, very high chlorine residual (5 to 10 ppm) for a week and a copper-based algaecide. Persistent black algae sometimes requires a partial drain.

Pools in Conroe are filled with soft to moderate San Jacinto River Authority supply. Soft water below 150 ppm calcium hardness is aggressive to plaster and metal equipment. We test calcium on every visit and add calcium chloride to bring the water into the 200 to 400 ppm pool range, especially for newer plaster surfaces.
