Residential Pool Services for Fruitland Park Pool Owners
Having a pool in your backyard can take the summer season from average, to the best summer ever! Swimming pools provide hours of enjoyment to property owners, guests, tenants and neighbours but all this fun doesn’t come without a lot of hard work. Keeping a swim space clean and running takes hours of hard work and labour, as well as the use of speciality tools and chemicals, which become expensive quickly. Instead of spending your leisure time and your money on pool care, call a Puddle Pro instead. Fruitland Park residential pool services provide affordable cleaning and maintenance right to your front door.
In a public pool or business setting, there are often whole teams of people dedicated to keeping pool water clean and sanitary but this isn’t the case at home. Water balance is a big part of pool maintenance but it doesn’t stop there. In order to keep a pool looking its best it is important to remove debris, inspect internal systems and perform seasonal treatments to keep systems in good shape. Professional pool care handles all of this for you, so you get the best results without sacrificing all of your free time. Let us help you make the most out of the pool season.
Pool Care At Home: Creating a Custom Plan That Works
No two swimming pools are exactly the same. Even if you are dealing with the same make and model, surrounding environments will have an impact on chemical levels, the amount of debris that is making its way into your system and will even have an impact on structural conditions. In order to get the best results for your swim space our team of Puddle technicians create custom treatment plans that address the unique needs of your pool.
For homes with a high level of plant life in the yard, you can expect higher levels of debris and an increased rate of algae growth. The presence of phosphates means food for algae while falling leaves, twigs, seed pods, needles and even insects clutter water surfaces, as well as the bottom of the pool. Getting rid of debris requires more than putting a simple skimmer to use. A basic pool vacuum is not designed to dig into hard angles to remove debris. This means corners and the areas around stairs can collect debris and bacteria.
Keeping swim spaces sanitary means monitoring water chemistry but it also means having to test and inspect the internal systems that keep water flowing! A quick shock treatment might help to clear cloudy water but this doesn’t make it sanitary! Anyone can throw in pool chemicals but when you want a clean and sanitary swim space, it is important to monitor chlorine levels, pH levels, alkalinity and calcium. The more people are using your pool, the higher the risk of a chemical imbalance. A simple testing kit can help to point out obvious issues but water testing by a professional can help to identify all issues, large and small.
Pool cleaning isn’t just about the areas that you can see, it is also about the systems at work behind the scenes. For example, if a pool pump is failing water is not circulating and chemicals are not being dispersed throughout the entirety of the water basin. An expert will run the pump and test return lines to make sure that everything is running smoothly. Puddle pool specialists will also check pool filters and empty skimmer baskets for the cleanest swim space possible.
Residential Pool Care: The Best Results At Any Time of Year
In addition to routine cleaning programs, as the seasons change swimming pools need even more attention. When dealing with an inground pool, it is important to drop the water level in your system to prevent issues within your water system. Professional pool services are able to treat in-ground and above ground pools, as well as indoor and outdoor swim spaces. By offering a variety of treatment options ranging from weekly and bi-weekly pool programs, seasonal treatments, one-time service calls and inspections, there is never a bad time to call a Puddle Pro.
Each member of the Puddle team is local to the Fruitland Park area, so we understand what your property is up against. In addition to providing excellent results, our team of experts provide peace of mind with a great reputation, fully insured staff and years of industry experience under our belts.
Fruitland Park Residential Pool Services: Frequently Asked Questions
How hard is Fruitland Park water?
The City of Fruitland Park report does not list hardness, but the Village of Pine Ridge 2025 Water Quality Report, whose water comes from the City of Fruitland Park system, gives hardness of 189 mg/L. Water that hard can leave scale on tile, heaters and hot tub jets, so keep an eye on calcium when balancing a pool or spa.
How close to my property line can a pool be in Fruitland Park?
Fruitland Park's Land Development Code requires a swimming pool, including its deck, to be at least 10 feet from side and rear property lines. The same 10 feet applies to a screen pool enclosure. Confirm setbacks for your lot with the City before building or renovating.
What pool barrier does Florida law require in Fruitland Park?
Fruitland Park's code defines a residential pool by reference to Florida's pool safety law, which covers pools two feet deep or more. That law requires a new residential pool to have at least one safety feature, such as a barrier at least 4 feet high with outward opening, self closing and self latching gates. Check with the City on permit requirements.
Do you offer one time deep cleans as well as regular service?
Yes. There are options for routine service and for deep cleans, so you can get a neglected pool back on track or keep a healthy one that way.
Can service continue year round?
Yes. Service can run through the whole year, adjusted to the season, so the pool stays protected even when it is not being used much.

Puddle pools has been servicing our pool for several years. Rick has always been very responsive and our tech, Jacob, is fantastic. I have recommended him to all our friends with pools.
I just want to share the amazing support I have received from Puddle Pools. Let's start with Anne Marie...I was having pump issues and the pump needed to be replaced. While we waited for the part, Anne Marie took care of the pool and made sure it remained clean despite the pump not working. Then the pump was replaced and it went great but Puddle Pools was receiving a warning light, so they came out proactively to repair it. Well, Brayden spent a good two hours working the issue and would not stop until it was resolved. Then I was having problems with the lights and they needed to be programmed. He again troubleshooted it and now they are fine. Lastly Rick and Sheila, I can't thank them enough for their proactive approach. When I got the email on how to properly handle the cold weather. I was like WOW that was so helpful!! Thank you Puddle Pools you guys are amazing!!!
We couldn't be happier with the services provided by Puddle Pool Services and in particular Jacob P! He does a great job, always pleasant and friendly! Thank you!
