Keeping your pool running smoothly takes a lot more than a skimming every now and then.

I recently switched to Puddles from another pool company. The previous cleaner kept forgetting to turn the main drain back on and one time we had a wind storm and our pump ran dry. We switched to Puddles and they are amazing 🤩 they take pictures of the pool shed when they leave it - so I can see the main drain has been turned back on šŸ™ˆ and they came out a few weeks ago but the power was out. So they did the chemicals - but what blew me away is they came back another day that week to the vacuum. I’m super happy with Puddles - highly recommend!!

We called for an appointment to have a hot tub refreshed and/or serviced. Instead of booking an appointment, I was given advice on what to do/ look for and then decide whether an appointment was needed. Because of that advice we saved the cost of a call.
Thanks for your help!

In a world of dying customer service Travis gives me faith it still exists. He went above and beyond, here as early as 7am and again at 5pm the same day. I tasked him with a short window to turn my green lagoon into a swimmable pool in a short period of time. He said it would be done and it was.

5 stars plus and would highly recommend him to anyone and refer him to all pool owners I know

They were awesome, even when I forgot to unlock the gate and they couldn’t get in. They came back the next day and still got the hot tub looking brand new again!! Fantastic work guys!

Thank you to Rob and the other gentleman from Puddle. We bought a used swim spa and they came in and drained it and did a huge cleaning and it looks brand new. Very helpful!

Langley Pool Cleaning Service

There is no property that can’t be improved by a swimming pool and spa. When cared for properly, a water feature can add curb appeal to any space, boost values, provide an outlet for exercise and be a great place to spend an afternoon. Caring for a water feature takes a lot of time, effort and knowledge – which can be hard to keep up with. Luckily, Puddle crews provide professional Langley pool cleaning services!

Comprehensive Solutions for Algae, Filtration, and Pump Issues

It is easy to become focused on chlorine levels alone, but proper pool maintenance requires so much more than just that. Pool circulation and filtration systems are key to maintaining condition and preserving a clean and sanitary environment. Whether in an in-ground pool, lap pool, wading pool or hot tub, a functioning pool pump is a necessity.

It can be difficult to diagnosis a slow running pump or dirty pool filter. If these key fixtures begin to slip, you will be dealing with algae in no time. The areas most susceptible to algae are corners and any areas around staircases. Any sharp angle is at risk of algae formation. You might be familiar with algae around ponds but there are several types to watch out for in pools.

In an open-water environment it can take a while for algae to take route and spread. In a closed environment like pools and spas, algae forms quickly and can take over in no time at all. Pink algae is common and forms across surfaces but is easily treated. The darker the algae, the more problematic it becomes, going through the rainbow from yellow to blue to brown and green.

Customized Maintenance Plans for Langley Homes & Commercial Properties

Anyone can grab a test kit or test strips from a pool supply store but just having hardware does not guarantee results. In order to get the best results for our clients, Puddle experts offer maintenance-only services, caring for and cleaning water features. Our specialists focus on pool chemistry but also offer inspections of fixtures, filters and circulation systems to ensure that things are running smoothly.

Sanitizers like chlorine and bromine are a given but the use of algaecides and appropriate pH levels can sometimes be a mystery, even to pool owners. Having a professional pool and hot tub expert visit your property means getting insight from a highly-trained specialist, along with great results and peace of mind.

All across Langley B.C., there are plenty of pools in need of servicing and that is why Puddle pool specialists offer treatments for any and all pool types. Backyard pools and spas, communal swimming areas around condominiums or apartments, aquatic centres and even hotels can all benefit from professional cleaning.

Depending on the level of traffic around your space, our experts offer options for both scheduled care and emergency call-outs. To best serve our clients, treatment options are available in weekly), bi-weekly and monthly options.

Langley Pool Cleaning: Frequently Asked Questions

How often should a pool be cleaned in Langley, British Columbia?

In Langley, we recommend professional pool cleaning at least once per week. Due to our year-round warm climate and intense British Columbia sun, chlorine depletes faster here than in other regions. Weekly service prevents algae blooms and ensures your water chemistry remains safe for swimming in the subtropical heat.

Why is my Langley pool turning green even with chemicals?

Green pools in Langley are often caused by high phosphate levels or 'locked' chlorine due to excessive cyanuric acid. Heavy seasonal rains can also wash debris and contaminants into the water. Puddle Pools provides 'Green to Clean' recovery services to shock the system and restore your water's crystal-clear balance.

Is a saltwater pool easier to maintain in the British Columbia climate?

Saltwater pools are popular in Langley because they provide a softer swim and a more consistent delivery of sanitizer. While they require less manual chemical handling, they still need weekly skimming, brushing, and cell cleaning to prevent calcium buildup. At Puddle Pools, we maintain both traditional chlorine and saltwater systems.

How do I choose the best pool cleaning service in Langley, BC?

When choosing a Langley pool service, look for a company that is fully licensed, insured, and provides real-time service reports. Puddle Pools offers 'Happy Snappy' technicians who send e-reports with photos after every visit, so you know exactly when your pool was cleaned and what chemicals were added.

How does heavy rain affect my pool's water chemistry?

Heavy British Columbia rain can dilute your pool's salt and chlorine levels while lowering the pH. This makes the water acidic and creates a breeding ground for algae. After a typical Langley thunderstorm, it is important to test your water and potentially 'shock' the pool to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.
