Maple Ridge Pool Opening

Throughout the year, the needs of a swimming pool change drastically. During spring and summer, weekly maintenance and water testing are a must but during the fall and winter, your pool does not get the attention that it deserves. On the first day of spring, it is tempting to remove the cover, shock your pool and dive on in, but a proper opening is not so simple! Calling a professional for your Maple Ridge pool opening means access to top tools and equipment, customized treatment plans and fully insured services, as well as great results every time.

The secret to any great pool opening service is a multi-step approach. Each step of a seasonal pool treatment should focus on a variety of factors, including: water chemistry, pool equipment, surrounding areas and structures. It takes hours of hard labour and a financial investment to clean pool water, but there isn’t much point in putting in this effort if your filtration system is struggling. When you want to open your pool property and make the most out of the swim season, call a Puddle Pro for the best possible results.

Seasonal Pool Maintenance: The Advantages of a Professional Pool Opening

There are many moving parts that go into keeping a pool system running. Everything from the water levels, pool filter, motor and chemical levels play a huge role in the overall condition of a swim space. Missing just one step in the opening process can result in costly damage and the need for expensive repairs. Hiring a specialist for your pool care means never missing a step.

In-Depth Pool Cleaning: Plenty of property owners have a handy pool vacuum at the ready. Simple skimmers can help to scoop up floating debris from water surfaces, but once it has sunken down, getting rid of unwanted items becomes a lot more difficult. A vacuum can help to reach those tough places but it can’t clean away residue or check filters for you. A professional pool service cleans the structures around your water system, but it also digs deep to reveal clogs or blockages within filtration and circulation systems.

Water Chemistry: Without the right balance of chemicals, swimmers are at risk. Testing kits are a dime a dozen at hardware and pool supply stores, and while these are great for detailing chlorine levels, they don’t account for everything. When you want to keep swimmers safe, it is important to monitor pH levels, alkalinity and, after sitting idle over long periods, address any algae growth that has formed. Puddle technicians can apply pool chemicals, balance water and ensure that anyone stepping into your water system is safe from contaminants.

Pool Equipment & Liners: Regular inspections are an important part of pool care. Vinyl liners are commonly used in pools, but these do not come without a bit of risk. After long periods of disuse, there might be small tears in a liner or areas that have become worn down. Noticing these early on can help to prevent large-scale damage and flooding. Pool specialists know which areas of your pool system are the most at risk and are able to identify pain points before you are dealing with a full blown disaster.

Had my pool heater serviced by Kat. She was able to make it a day earlier than scheduled and even though I wasn't home, she kept me informed along the way via phone and sent me photos as updates. I'll be sure to use Puddle Pools again!

I would hands down use Kat again. I will use her next year for opening and closing the pool. Kat did the most stellar job and I cannot say enough good things about her.

We are newbies to owning a pool so needless to say it was pretty daunting to navigate through the maintenance. We feel very fortunate to have met Kat Lopez who not only helped explained the process, but walked us through it step by step. She is very patient and prompt in replying to queries. She would arrive on time when she said she would, efficient in using her time whenever she is onsite. She also provides a detailed report after every appointment so there was no second guessing on what was accomplished. Talk about professionalism at its best! The rates are reasonable. Our family is grateful we came across Puddle Pools! The rates are reasonable. We are happy to support a local business. We hope the owners know how fortunate they are to have Kat on their team! Thank you for all your help, Kat!

Excellent company. Had a cloudy pool that no amount of shock or floc would clear. Turned out to be high phosphate levels. Couple days and the pool is sparkling clean. Highly recommend if you're having pool trouble.
