Maple Ridge Residential Pool Services

When managing a swimming pool, it is easy to get caught up on water chemistry and forget about the other aspects if your pool that keep it running. Managing pool care at home means having to balance water chemistry while caring for filtration systems, dealing with debris and inspecting mechanisms. Without technical knowledge and training, these are all complicated processes. Professional Maple Ridge residential pool services provide in-depth cleans that cater to the needs of your water system and surfaces.

Pool maintenance is not as simple as shocking your pool when there are signs of trouble. As a property owner, you are responsible for everyone that steps foot into your pool or hot tub. Imbalanced chemicals can lead to skin irritations and infections while structural damage can lead to flooding, leaks and water stains and a clogged filtration system can put strain on systems and raise utility bills. With so much riding on a great results, don’t bother with a DIY situation.

Pool Cleaning at Home: A Multi-Step Approach

When you want to improve the look and function of your water system, an automatic pool cleaner might help but it can’t get the right results. Pool vacuums are able to pick up large pieces of debris from the open areas of a pool bottom but cannot reach into corners or the hard angles around stairs and they certainly can’t help with cleaning out filters. The best way to care for your pool is to create a customized treatment plan that caters to the unique needs of your water system, inside and out.

Cleaning and maintaining surfaces is great but without proper inspection of lines and internal components, there is likely mould, mildew and other contaminants inside. If this is the case, cleaned water will become contaminated again as soon as the system is started. In order to get the best results, it is important to break your pool care down into routine maintenance, deep cleans and seasonal care.

Routine Cleaning: In order to maintain a sanitary swim space, it is important to balance pool chemicals on a regular basis. Regular application of pool chemicals make it possible to balance sanitizer and chlorine levels, as well as pH levels and total alkalinity. During the cleaning process, it is important to clear out skimmer baskets, check filters, skim and vacuum debris and inspect other components like the pool pump, motor, pool filter or vinyl liner.

Deep Cleans: If you are experiencing cloudy water, algae growth, foul smells or a buildup of debris, it might be a better option to drain and refill a pool or hot tub. For a swimming pool, this is an extreme treatment but it is common for swim spas and hot tubs that have been left stagnant.

Seasonal Treatments: When cold weather begins to come around, it is a good idea to drop the water level and apply a specialized chemical treatment that prevents algae. Removing detachable components to be dried and stored for winter to protect plastic from becoming brittle. When spring comes back around it is important to treat pool water, and reinstall all necessary components.

Had my pool heater serviced by Kat. She was able to make it a day earlier than scheduled and even though I wasn't home, she kept me informed along the way via phone and sent me photos as updates. I'll be sure to use Puddle Pools again!

I would hands down use Kat again. I will use her next year for opening and closing the pool. Kat did the most stellar job and I cannot say enough good things about her.

We are newbies to owning a pool so needless to say it was pretty daunting to navigate through the maintenance. We feel very fortunate to have met Kat Lopez who not only helped explained the process, but walked us through it step by step. She is very patient and prompt in replying to queries. She would arrive on time when she said she would, efficient in using her time whenever she is onsite. She also provides a detailed report after every appointment so there was no second guessing on what was accomplished. Talk about professionalism at its best! The rates are reasonable. Our family is grateful we came across Puddle Pools! The rates are reasonable. We are happy to support a local business. We hope the owners know how fortunate they are to have Kat on their team! Thank you for all your help, Kat!

Excellent company. Had a cloudy pool that no amount of shock or floc would clear. Turned out to be high phosphate levels. Couple days and the pool is sparkling clean. Highly recommend if you're having pool trouble.
