ECCC 1981 to 2010 normals for Kelowna Airport give an average last spring frost around May 10 and first fall frost around September 28, a frost free period of about 140 days. Highs exceed 20 C on about 24 days in June and 29 in July and August. An opening visit cleans and inspects the pool. A closing visit winterizes it before the fall frost.
